HISTORY

WOODBOROUGH HALL HISTORY

Woodborough Hall is a place of tranquility and charm, lovingly restored to its former glory and proud to offer the ultimate atmospheric experience, suitable for any peaceful countryside estate.

Steeped in history, there are records of a hall being on the current grounds dating all the way back to 1086. The present building was built in 1660 and subsequently a Mansfield Parkyns bought the Hall in 1852 and incorporated some exceptional changes to start its latter day restoration.

The elegant Woodborough Hall has since then been utilised for a variety of uses ranging from a family home, official residence for the RAF and the Army, and now the venue it is today, as owned by Timothy and Betina Lock.

We look forward to welcoming you into our unique venue, to help you celebrate your individual event in the style you want. Please browse our new website to view some of the many facilities we have on offer, such as wedding ceremony & business event hosting, fine dining and luxurious accommodation, but if you still have any questions left unanswered, or simply wish to visit us to view our facilities at first hand, then please don't hesitate to get in touch.

“Thanks to the Woodborough Hall staff for making our wedding day such a magical occasion. The service and attention to detail through the day was excellent and the food was superb."
